#WedNightPoetry: Masquerade (by Tammy Thomas)

Masquerade
Masquerade
He's intrigued by me. Yet he doesn't know me. He's mesmerized by my eyes. They are flirting with him. He's hypnotized by my power of seduction. And he doesn't want to get away. He needs to know who I am, but I like to play. Curiosity is killing him softly as we danced. Our swag lits up the room on fire. Love the cat and mouse game. Arouses his senses. Pleasuring his intuition. Then the clock strikes twelve! Like the wind, I'm gone. Leaving him breathless and wanting more.
