Kim Porter, the model / actress ex girlfriend of music mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs of 13 years was found dead today (Thursday Nov. 15th) at her L.A. area home. Law enforcement sources state that they got a call to Porter's Toluca Lake home around noon. According to emergency dispatch audio the call came in as a patient in Cardiac arrest. A source connected to Kim says she had been suffering flu-like symptoms and possibly pneumonia for several weeks but it's still unclear what exactly caused Kim's death. Diddy and Kim's relationship spanned for more than a decade with several breakups and makeups in between. The former couple has 3 children together. R.I.P. Blacktopia sits down with rapper, and comic book creator Slow Chemical for a one on one interview to discuss his new comic book series The Geneva Convention, his music, his history as an artist and more! Read all about him.
Blacktopia:Hello Slow Chemical, how are you?
Slow Chemical: I'm great thanks for asking
Blacktopia: How did you come up with the name Slow Chemical?
Slow Chemical: I was going to the studio one day with another artist and at the time I was going by DWB I didn't have a rap name. Well I was listening to a song by Finger Eleven a rock band called "Slow Chemical" well the artist I was with was complaining because it was a rock song. Anyways we get to the studio and I'm in the booth doing my thing and it was a studio where you had a window sound proof but you can see the engineer. So I see him get up and tell the engineer to stop the track and then once the track is stopped he says to me. That's your name, "Slow Chemical " your style is so different it's a slow burn but once it hits you are messed up. So that's how I got the name.
Blacktopia: How long have you been rapping and what inspired you to want to rap?
Slow Chemical: I have been rapping for about 11 or 12 years now maybe longer I don't really remember. I always wrote and eventually I just started rapping actually it's been longer but I don't remember when I started rhyming to be honest. What inspired me was just the competitive nature of hip hop the aggression and the challenge of making people respect your talking game.
Blacktopia:Who are some of your favorite rappers?
Slow Chemical: LL Cool J, he is the reason I started rapping so yeah definitely more then 11 years haha . LL , Scarface, Soulja Slim, Ice Cube to name a few
Blacktopia: What other genres of music do you listen to?
Slow Chemical: I listen to everything maybe not country but everything else I find interesting genre wise.
Blacktopia: Who all have you worked with as an artist?
Slow Chemical: Not many people I just started reaching out to people in the last couple of years but we have some names coming up you all might know. Other wise it is just my team my bro Jonathan ester gem star pro, Cold Conscious, Steven Drake's. Like I said not many people but this new album will change that
Blacktopia: How would you describe your overall sound as an artist?
Slow Chemical: Yeah I never know how to answer that question to be honest so this will be pretty generic. I am just me I let other people talk and debate that out
Blacktopia: What got you into comics?
Slow Chemical: I have always been a fan of comics and what got me into writing them is I had this story I wanted to put together which eventually became my first book ever published "dawn the mask" and I was talking to an advisor at school and she reached out to an artist and we just decided to go for it. So we did two volumes of it.
Blacktopia: What are some of your favorite comics?
Slow Chemical: My favorite story of all time is "X-Men: Days of Futures Past" but others are "Watchmen" and "The killing joke"
Blacktopia: How would you describe your latest comic release The Geneva Convention?
Slow Chemical: The Geneva convention is brutally honest and to the point. We have two issues out now and the third is coming but it's the most in your face book I have.
Blacktopia: What are 3 reasons people should read "The Geneva Convention"?
Slow Chemical: It's full of surprises for one. Yes it's a serious topic but a lot of people wanted to get involved in this project so we have Big Woo Radio with a guest spot as well as Bruce Prichard and Conrad Thompson the wrestling fans will know who they are making guest spots. Two it's not a book full of filler some times people get caught in the "we have to do a standard issue" no you don't some books will be longer and some will be shorter but the story is what they are here for.
Three everyone always talks about it's the same thing that's out there go and support something new!

Singer Jill Scott is a true entertainer and she certainly did that with one of her latest performances as she performed fake oral sex on the mic on stage. Jill Scott certainly had the Internet streets buzzing after the show.... especially members of "Blacktopia". This is what some of the members of Blacktopia had to say about the performance..... "Nothing she did was spectacular. It was the standard of oral sex. I was more shocked at how people reacted. It's a lot of deprived people out here" - Rhonda Fox "I'm assuming anyone that was shocked and shaken is a virgin because I don't see what the fuss is about. If you're not already performing like that in the bedroom, take notes and get to work!!" - Lea Mishell columnist for Blacktopia "This is the Jill I’ve always known so I wasn't shocked or disgraced by it. Just entertained as always like when I go to her concerts. She is a true entertainer..." - Shakeyla KeyvanjelaTerry "What was my reaction...? Well. First I was like "what is she doing" and then I was like "oh that's what she's doing". Then I kept scrolling." - Chelsi Hosey "Nothing new to us true blue Jilly from Philly fans. These newcomers need to get with or get left." - La'Ren Brique "No reaction if you already been hip to her music she’s been singing this and performing these acts since she’s been out . And performance was like any other job if you know what you’re doing" - Ciandre Taylor "IF SHE SUCKING IMAGINARY DICK AND GETTING ALL THIS FEED BACK SHE MUST BE A GODDESS GIVING REAL HEAD REAL SPIT DO YO THANG GIRL"😂😂😂 - Misty Blue "I thought Jill did something different until I watched the video and realized it was the same show. I will suggest listening to Jill's entire album and not just radio cuts." - Kesh Nicole "I was surprised, shocked, and blushing all at the same time."- Tammy Thomas "I wasn't surprised at all. Any Jill fan knows how she gets down. Just listen to Crown Royal. She been bout that life." - Ebony Collins Join the Blacktopia Facebook Group to see MORE!! https://www.facebook.com/groups/446575245495210

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combshas solidified his stamp on every part of the world. From apparel and music to spirits and water, the 48-year-old is now taking his talents into the tech world.
In his newest interview with GQ, the music mogul revealed he and JAY-Zare working on an app aimed at showing, “black-owned and black-friendly business” in “any given city”.
“This is not about taking away from any other community,” states Diddy. “We’ll still go to Chinatown. We’ll still buy Gucci!” He laughed. “But the application will make it possible for us to have an economic community. It’s about blacks gaining economic power.” He and Jay-Z have been talking about this, he said, about moving the race forward actively, by means of: making a lot of money and putting it back into the community.”
“I don’t believe in passiveness. At some point there has to be some kind of fight. I feel like we’ve done a lot of marching. It’s time to start charging.”
The Bad Boy CEO and the Roc-A-Fella head honcho are no stranger to collaborating and even competing against one another. Earlier this year, Forbes named JAY the highest paid rapper in hip-hop with a net worth of $900 million. Over the years the pair have alternated between the number one and two spots.

Legendary recording artists, actors and businessmenLL Cool J and Ice Cube are reportedly lining up to purchase 22 television networks.
According to various sources, in light of Disney’s $71 billion acquisition of 21st Century Fox, the Justice Department is forcing the House of Mouse to auction off 22 regional sports channels in order to avoid a monopoly since Disney already owns ESPN. The 22 stations involved in the deal include everything from Fox Sports San Diego to Fox Sports Arizona, Fox Sports Detroit, Fox Sports Southwest among other networks.
The deal for all 22 stations is reportedly expected to be anywhere from $15 to $25 billion. The two won’t have to foot the bill alone, as they are teaming up with billionaire Alex and Ani jewelry founder Carolyn Rafaelian.
