Once I reached a certain age, my terminology changed.  I rarely use the word BITCH but sometimes it's called for!  When you act with dignity and respect, you're a Lady. When you act with a foul disrespectful attitude, you might be a Bitch.

I was raised to be a lady in the streets, I taught myself to be a freak in the sheets and prior to marriage I had a brief stint as a Side Lady. I am not poultry so don't call me a Chick.  I say I was a Lady because I knew my place in his life and never disturbed his household.  My status was solidified when his woman had the audacity to go through his phone, saw our most recent text conversation and called me!  I respectfully told her to talk to him about me which she did while I was on the phone.  When he told her to NEVER call me a bitch, I smiled.  True, I was disrespecting his relationship by helping him cheat but he never personally disrespected me.

Fast forward to my life now. I'm still a Lady but I'se married now!!! And with the beauty of polyamory, I can have my own Side Lady!!! The difference is that my Husband will know about her from the beginning of our relationship. She won't be hidden or lied about. She will be respected just as she respects my marriage. The same will go for my husband's girlfriends. And when we are blessed to find a woman for US... ah BLISS!!!  No secret rendezvous is worth the end of my relationship with my Husband and neither of us wants a divorce. Polyamory isn't for everyone but it's damn better than being with a cheater!
