Blacktopia Music Video Pick: Rhyme Scheme "The Connect" (featuring Big Herk & Cean Murq)

Although rising hip hop recording artist Rhyme Scheme is now stationed in the West Coast, making major moves in California, he's originally from "The D".  Detroit, Michigan.  Recently, Rhyme Scheme returned home to collaborate with Detroit legendary rapper Big Herk (who has worked with all the major acts to come out of the Motor City from Eminem, Obie Trice, Trick Trick and everyone in between!) as well as the buzzing Cean Murq for the song and video "The Connect", and Rhyme Scheme certainly is the gateway and bridge from Cali to Detroit and with this song he certainly meshes the two worlds together nicely.  The song also has a smooth switch up in the middle of the beat that highlights the comparison between Detroit and Cali Hip Hop and it's done in such an innovative way that it is sure to have a new generation of emcees wanting to replicate the genius concept, but until then, enjoy the original.  Post your feedback below and keep checking back here for more updates!
