Threi is a prodigy and a titan with years of experience under his belt recognized as one of the industry pioneers! Threi has crossed paths with some of raps most successful in the biz. He is best known from Ice Cube's group The Lenchmob.
Threi was born in Southern California and raised in the ghettos of Los Angeles. He also has lived in Stockton Ca. & Phoenix, Az. During the N.W.A. days Ice Cube and Threi became roommates recording music and writing songs throughout Ice Cube's school days in Phoenix at ITT Tech. Ice Cube then learned Threi was very skilled with music & clothing. With Ice Cube going solo from group NWA he made Threi part of his Lenchmob group from Phoenix,Az. and took Threi with him on several tours as an official member. Threi quickly put together some amazing clothing and secured a merchandising agreement with Mckenzie River Corp. to advertise for St. Ides beer and Ice Cube. Threi 's success extends beyond the world of rap as he has done merchandising for Ice Cube's Death Certificate tour. He also helped created the movie set for "Friday". Threi has appeared on MTV's Rags-n-Gear so you can see he keeps a lot on his plate. Threi is focused and driven Producers of most of Threi's tracks for this album are from legendary Lenchmob producer Chilly Chill, Eijay Of Embryo Soul Music and Dee Da Bad Guy of Orange Room Music whom Threi had the pleasure of working directly with on several projects due for release. A collaboration with Mac-doe of La Zuu Tribe and legendary west coast rap artist Duv Mac/Tfl Music.
He learned how to put together a gold and platinum album from the legend Ice Cube, rule#1-I will always be fan of rap music 1st.

Interview with LeeLee (Queen of the Queen City's Drill Music Scene)

Today we had a quick but powerful one on one interview with rising female Drill music recording artist and Blacktopian LeeLee.  In the interview LeeLee talks about her music, a tragic, terrible incident in which she bounced back and recovered from, wanting to work with drill music producers in Chicago, and more!  Read all about what this rising young artist had to say here.

Blacktopia:  Hello LeeLee, before we start could you tell the readers a little bit about who you are?
LeeLee:  Hey my name is Leelee from Charlotte North Carolina.  I'm a female artist, young girl trying to make her dreams a reality.

Blacktopia: What inspired you to want to get into rapping?
LeeLee:  I feel like rapping always been in me since I was young.  My family was into a lot of underground music and always was in the scene of it and me seeing and being around it a lot made me want to start something of my own dealing with the music industry.

Blacktopia:  Who are some of the artists that you listen to on your own time?
LeeLee:  I really don't have much time to listen to a lot of other artists cause I'm to busy starting up my own project at the moment but believe it or not I'm mainly an old school type of girl.

Blacktopia:  Speaking of spare time, what do you enjoy doing in your spare time?  Tell us a little about what LeeLee likes to do.
LeeLee:  On my spare time I love watching reality T.V. shows going out with my girls and having a good time.

Blacktopia:  Getting back to the music, what type of beats bring out the best in what you do?
LeeLee:  I feel like Chicago and trap rock beats brings the best out of me with my music and allows me to bring out my lil ratchet side out and having fun with it.

Blacktopia:  Who are some of the producers you work with?
LeeLee:  I haven't really work with producers at the moment but I've been looking into working with Dior Rage and some producers from Chicago.

Blacktopia:  As for producers and artists, who would you like to work with in the future?
LeeLee:  I would love to work with Gucci Mane and Kodak Black I would love to start something up with them.

Blacktopia:  Who have you worked with so far?
LeeLee:  I've worked with Headyoungin from Cartel Music and Yung Murda from Goon Squad.

Blacktopia:  What has been one of the worst experiences you've faced as an artist right now and how did you bounce back or learn from it?
LeeLee:  The worst experiences I went thru this year being an artist, I was shot in the back at this Kick Back in Charlotte I was heading too and it was the scariest moment in my life me.  Bouncing back took me no time cause I'm so determine and confident in what I wanna do and when I met Manny Mac he defiantly helped me bounce back and guide me in the right direction with my music.

Blacktopia:  What has been two milestones in your career as an artist right now?
LeeLee:  A big milestone for me in my career was me bouncing back with doing music still after me going thru what I went thru.  I'm still healing but nothing is stopping me.  Music always been a big part in my life

Blacktopia:  Could you tell the readers one thing about LeeLee that they may not already know?
LeeLee:  I'm still working on upcoming projects and can't wait to share the world my upcoming mixtape and I'm starting to get myself out of the box of just a drill rapper and starting to get into doing some r&b as well.

Blacktopia:  Is there anything else you would like to plug your mention?
LeeLee: I just wanna let people know that I got a lot coming up real soon with my music and more visuals coming so I'm really excited about that.
