Blacktopia: Hi Ms. Crenshaw! How’s life treating you these days? Are you excited to dive into this conversation?
SoSo Bright Crenshaw: Took a long time to adjust just haven't been myself in a long time. Life has been investing. Investing into my platform and my writing career. Investing into my children. Investing financially.
Blacktopia: Your pen name, SoSo Bright Crenshaw, is intriguing! What’s the story behind it, and what does it symbolize to you?
SoSo Bright Crenshaw: At first it was just So Bright I use it as my signature on my messages. Then a "used to be" friend gave me the idea to say SoSo Bright. I was thinking about my skin tone that's were the name came from. Ha 
Blacktopia: Hah! We thought the pen name was referring to your intelligence, saying that you were a "bright" person. 😁 I guess it could be used in that way too. When did poetry become your passion, and was there a pivotal moment that sparked your journey as a poet?
SoSo Bright Crenshaw: Poetry became more of a passion when I just kept on writing. Always allowing the Holy Spirit to give me insight on new creative ideas of my work.
Blacktopia: How would you define your unique voice as a poetess? What sets your writing style apart?
SoSo Bright Crenshaw: To be a voice of many people who are just afraid to speak. My writing style is ministry and storytelling. I love to dig deep in the root.
Blacktopia: Your work touches on many themes. Can you give us a glimpse into the topics you’re most passionate about exploring in your poetry?
SoSo Bright Crenshaw: Matrimony. Inspirational. Romance.
Blacktopia: Do you have any books, collections, or exciting projects you’d like to share with our readers?
So Bright Crenshaw: I have a commercial of my brand TDWC (To Death With Cancer) regarding the cancer poem I wrote 7 years ago. Planning on making the commercial to get on Networks.
Blacktopia: Have you thought about branching out from poetry? Maybe diving into fiction, nonfiction, or even screenwriting?
SoSo Bright Crenshaw: No ! Screenwriting would be nice.
Blacktopia: Beyond your poetry, what should we know about the person behind the words? What makes SoSo Bright shine?
SoSo Bright Crenshaw: Wisdom. Virtue. Fierce. Warrior.
Blacktopia: Where do you call home now, and where does your story begin? What’s your journey been like?
SoSo Bright Crenshaw: Home for me is having peace with Christ. The story begins from Alabama, to Detroit, and Georgia. I stayed in 3 different states. That journey had so much quotes and poetry
Blacktopia: What are some hobbies or interests that inspire you outside of your writing?
SoSo Bright Crenshaw: I love to cook and bake, do treats.
Finding ways to style my daughter's hair.
Open mic networking with other businesses.
Blacktopia: You’re a familiar face in the EFABU Talk Show community with Lil’ T3rry and Southside Mike. What draws you to the show, and why do you love it?
SoSo Bright Crenshaw: The topics for the community on how society should get more involved. Resolving solutions to have their voice being heard. Of course, me I'm the fun part I'm glad it's a place to laugh and speak your mind. It's therapy.

SoSo Bright Crenshaw: Brotherhood, the men have their own different perspectives and it's funny.

SoSo Bright Crenshaw: 
Can't remember the topics I said so much on the show I just don't know.

SoSo Bright Crenshaw: Yes! How to invest into your children. Teaching the youth to remain virtuous taking full control of their welfare.
Blacktopia: Speaking of the future, what does 2025 hold for you? Are there any exciting plans or dreams you’re bringing to life?
SoSo Bright Crenshaw: Most definitely can't speak on it right now. Just have to watch and see. Everything is progressing.
